Once we receive your application, our team will carefully review it to see if it aligns with the values and criteria for your chosen membership. Since Raya offers limited exclusive memberships, we look for individuals who genuinely align. If your application is successful, we’ll invite you for a short interview — a chance for us to get to know you better and understand how you hope to grow with Raya.

If approved, you’ll receive a warm welcome into the Raya family. We’ll guide you through everything you need to know — from our member handbook to exclusive resources and upcoming events & opportunities. Consider this your start to meaningful connections, growth, and a new chapter with Raya.

The
Criteria

Our Investors & Entrepreneurs have:

  • Founders, co-founders, or executives of a registered business, startup, or investment firm actively operating or in development.
  • Entrepreneurs with a proven track record of launching, building, or scaling ventures — demonstrating both vision and execution across their professional journey.
  • High-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals with a vested interest in early-stage innovation, strategic deal flow, or advisory involvement in private ventures.
  • Investors with active portfolios or professional expertise in venture capital, private equity, or alternative assets — seeking curated access to founders, opportunities, networking and peer insight.
  • A shared interest in contributing to a collaborative funding ecosystem, including participation in curated pitch events, private capital conversations, and exclusive access to vetted founders and their ventures.
  • The flexibility and intent to engage in elevated dialogue — through both virtual roundtables and in-person experiences hosted in Toronto’s business and cultural core.
